Francine didn't graduate from high school because she spent too much time being popular and not enough time on her studies. She was 1/2 credit short. This didn't stop her mother from giving her a graduation party, however.

  Mom invited many who Francine didn't like or didn't like her. In front of this crowd, Francine was forced to wear a little girl dress and submit her hair to the highest bidder. The highest bidders bought a chance to take one whack into Francine's golden knee length tresses. With one last dangling reminder of her once glorious hair, Mom takes the scissors. She takes Francine's purse and slowly shears the last holdout hair. Among cheers, Francine bows to the ground in disgrace, forgetting how the short humiliating dress would reveal her white cotton undies!

  Francine finished summer school in humiliating form. With a flat top crew cut, she got her diploma and left town for good to rebuild her image and grow her hair.
